Anu Kirk and Christy Novack met through a friend in the San Francisco music scene. Veteran musicians, they discovered a shared passion for gothic rock and started writing songs together.

Anu has been recording, producing, and engineering music for decades. He leads the maximum new wave band Sid Luscious and The Pants and the synthwave project Luscious-235. He has worked or collaborated with artists including Tyler Bates, Blake Luxxury, Daniel Meyer, Lisa Papineau, and Lauren Tabak.

Christy is a multi-instrumentalist from the Bay Area. She has been in and led various bands over the years including Oakland-based Control-R, Nomad, and San Francisco’s Red Apples, a cover band that plays songs from Quentin Tarantino movies. Instruments include clarinet, sax, keyboards, bass, guitar and vocals.
